Hi, I’m Jack. With two decades of experience in product design and engineering, and a lifelong love for exploring the outdoors, trail design was a natural progression. My passion for computer-aided design (CAD) led me to specialise in 3D modelling early in my career, and I now apply its benefits of foresight, simulation, and detailed planning, to the trail industry.

Based in Orange NSW, I transitioned from volunteer work with the local club to professional trail design in 2021. My first major project, the ‘Trail of Awesomeness’, helped demonstrate the value of combining LiDAR terrain analysis and digital modelling with traditional trail building methods. Since then, I’ve collaborated with councils, national parks, and builders to create sustainable, engaging trail networks using high-resolution mapping data and advanced 3D tools.

My mission: To use the best data and tools available to design the best trails possible.
